Before and After Camp
For working parents, we have extended hours at
a nominal fee. This fee must be paid before each camp session. The Park District reserves the right to charge additional fees when children are not picked up on time.

This enrichment camp is designed for the child
who just completed or will be attending Preschool, Kindergarten or First Grade in the fall. A variety of activities will be available allowing self expression, creativity, socialization, and recreation. Theme based with new activities every week. Early drop-off and late pick-up available for additional fee. Traditional camp activities and weekly field trips are included as well as swimming at our indoor pool.

Camp Sendak
Kinder Camp, Camp Connect, Camp Sendak Before ONLY or After ONLY Camp
This learning enrichment camp is designed for the child who just completed First Grade through Third Grade. Student should enjoy reading, writing and math activities. A variety of activities will be available allowing self expression, creativity, socialization, and recreation. Students will continue their school stud- ies enhanced by using traditional camp experiences and activities. Included daily will be 30 minutes of structured physical education. Theme based with new activities every week.

Who says our brain goes on vacation during the summer? Physics, Chemistry, and Geology will be explored. We will blast off rockets, erupt oozing volcanoes, and try messy experiments. Class is designed for adventurous and curious youngsters. Please dress comfortable and wear athletic shoes. Lunch will be provided. Weekly field trip and swim- ming at our indoor pool. Before and after camp available for an additional fee.

Camp Connect
Art, science, sports, swimming, theater, games, dance, and music will be provided in this active, well rounded traditional five week camp. Weekly field trips included. No need to choose one theme because you will be introduced to an assortment of activities.

Love the outdoors? This camp is for you. We will hike, explore, and investigate the world around us by looking at plants, rocks, insects, and trails. Crafts and experiments round out this camp. Students will have the opportunity to experience traditional camp activities, field trips and also swimming in our indoor swimming pool. Before and after camp available for an additional fee.

Traditional camp activities and weekly field trips will round out Kinder Camp, Camp Sendak, Camp Con- nect, Zany Brainy and Nature Camp. Early drop-off and late pick-up is available for an additional fee. Camp calendars and weekday field trips are listed at www. jolietpark.org. A $50.00 non-refundable/non-transfer- able deposit may be made to secure your child’s spot in these camps. You may also make payments of any amount until one week before the start of each camp session. All camp fees must be paid in full one week prior to the start of camp.
