What is Synergy?
Synergy Competitive Dance: The Joliet Park District is proud to announce our competitive dance teams. This is a great opportunity for your child to become part of a team that will build their self-esteem and encourage them to be con- fident and outgoing. Competitions are held on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a year-long commitment. Practices will be held on Friday evenings. Purchase of dance warm-ups and shoes will be required. During the summer, practice techniques and team work is emphasized. Team performs at local festivals and parades.
The Dance Crew provides members with a unique oppor- tunity to study, explore and perform dance at a higher level of expectation. This gives the more disciplined dancer a way to study dance at a studio-quality level of teaching. Team performs in parades and area festivals.
Synergy team 2015-2016 season runs from Sept 2015-May 2016. Members are required to be enrolled for the entire season. Payments are made in 2 sessions: September & January. Synergy Park District Dance & Pom Crews compete from January to April in the Illinois Park District Gymnastics Conference Drill Team Division. New members are welcome.

Synergy Park District Dance Crew competes from January to April in the Illinois Park District Gym- nastics Conference Drill Team Division. The session focuses on learning dance techniques, routines and group work to develop a teamwork atmosphere. Competition dances will be perfected during this session. Team performs in parades and area festivals. Sunday, December 20 is the Winter Showcase and Saturday, May 14 is our Spring Recital. The 2015-16 season runs from June 2015- May 2016. Members are required to be enrolled for the entire season.
