Participants must be able to swim at least one length of the pool to be eligible for swim team. Special Olympic Illinois Swim Meets are Saturdays, February 11 and March 4 at Stagg High School in Palos Hills. Gold medal winners will advance to the Summer Games held June 9-11 in Bloomington. Trans: $56 Jan session; $49 Mar session
Train for individual track events, then enter the Area 7 Spring Games on May 6. Gold medal winners will advance to the Summer Games. Registrants must attend the spring/summer games. Trans: $58

Application for Participation
Athletes wishing to participate in Special Olympics programs must have a current Special Olympics medical application for participation on le with SRJC. The application is valid for two years from the date of the examination.

SRJC is o ering an after school program. Each day will consist of structured activities. The program follows Troy School District #30c calendar. There will be no program on days there is no school. Transportation is provided by Troy School District #30c from home school to the Joliet Park District Multi-Purpose Center. SRJC does not provide transportation services. A ordable equal monthly installment payments are available.
