Tales of the Underground

Passengers on the Underground Railroad struggled with hunger, cold, unfamiliar surroundings, never knowing who to trust, and the overwhelming fear
of getting caught. This special event o ers a glimpse into what fugitive slaves endured on their trip
to freedom. Families and groups welcome. Light refreshments will be available. Held at Pilcher Park Nature Center. Ages 6+ $10

Star Wars Family Event
Saturday, January 7, 6pm – 8pm
Enjoy an adventurous evening with your family
in the Multi-Purpose Galaxy (Gym). Dress as your favorite Star Wars character, grab your saber
and jump into your spaceship. Pizza and dessert
will be served. We will play super-galactic games and create a special memory mat. There will be
a special visit from Darth Villain and the Jedi Master from Fairytale Entertainment. A professional photographer will be available and will o er picture packages for an additional cost. All participants must pre-register, $15R/$20N

Valentine’s Sweetheart Family Event
Saturday, February 11 from 6 – 8pm at the Multi-Purpose Center Gym
Valentine’s Day is not just a special day for couples; it’s for families as well! What says LOVE more than family? We will celebrate this evening with activities, games, music, and refreshments. Dress for active movement.
All participants must pre-register.

Pioneer Fest and Pancake Breakfast
Enjoy pancakes, sausage, and 100% pure maple syrup! Come for
the maple syrup making demonstrations and try your hand at
pioneer chores while stepping back into time with our pioneer
reenactors. You will learn how to make butter and ice cream,
learn pioneer toys, and check out the general store among
other fun things. Breakfast available throughout the event!
