  PROJECT PLAN
Timeline
The process to develop the Shreveport-Bossier Destination Master Plan commenced in April 2022. The due diligence to
validate the need for both the master plan and the new brand architecture began with the industry-standard DestinationNEXT assessment survey in 2019. That was followed by the creation of a new 3-year Shreveport-Bossier Convention & Tourist Bureau Strategic Recovery plan in the fall of 2020. During that planning process, the organization’s Board of Directors agreed that a new master plan and brand identity were critical priorities for the visitor industry, residents, and the community at large.
