Your Five Children
We are who we are because of you. We love you so much and wish we could hear you say your normal response, “I love you more.” Oh, how we wish we could talk to you, hug you, kiss you, hold your hand and see your sweet smile one more time.
As the matriarch of this family, you established our family traditions. We will miss our family dinners with you for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We will miss our spontaneous family talent shows. Who will we sing, “I’ll Always Love My Mama” to?
For every push to completion. Thank you. For every drive for excellence. Thank you. For every pull to avoid danger. Thank you. For every yes you can when we thought we could not. Thank you. For every redirect for lessons not needed to learn. Thank you.
Thank you for all that you did for us. Most of all, thank you for simply being our Mom, MaMa and Mother.
We are heartbroken. But we do not cry like we have no hope because we know there is joy in the morning.
Until we see you again, take your rest our amazing mom and hug dad for us.
