ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

HIGH SCHOOL ATTENDED: Renaissance High School, My accomplishments throughout high school are
graduating from Renaissance Highschool with an overall GPA of 3.0 while being on the honor roll my

entire senior year. Also graduating from the Wolverine Pathways program after 6 years in the program.

On the sports side, being one of the top 20 runners in the state of Michigan in the 200m, Gained All-

City and All-State accolades throughout high school. “LAHC Enriching Live-Embracing Diversity” is one
of the many community service groups that I was a part of during my time in high school.

COLLEGE ATTENDING: Undecided

MAJOR IN COLLEGE: Computer Science

PERSONAL BIOGRAPHY :

I grew up in a small city in the middle of Southfield called Lathrup Village. going to school only 2 steps

away from my house from k-12, Lathrup has been my home for many years. My major that I have se-
lected is Computer Science BS. My career goals are to after college have a respected, well-paying job in

my field of study. This scholarship from Southfield Kappa League will open new opportunities for me as

far as college selection. the money will help me put into motion my “plan of success” as I head into a

new endeavor of college life. I will always have a love and need for giving back to the black community.

Over the years I have gained both knowledge and wisdom that I feel should be shared throughout the
community and to our young black men pursuing college. With a 21st century standpoint I can help our

young black men through many problems that both I and the community have faced.
