FACING ADVERSITY Caused by COVID-19 Pandemic, Systemic Racism, Blacks Murdered by Police:
My motivation for facing adversity either caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic, systematic racism, Blacks
murdered by police and life in general is first knowing that adversity creates confidence to overcome
things that do not tend to go my way, and that it creates resilience. In order to be motivated about the
adversity which I am facing is first taking responsibility for the actions I have control over, finding the

lesson, finding the time to build from it, and act towards adversarial situations

KEEPING YOUR FAITH In God to Overcome the Adversities You Will Surely Face:
My motivation for keeping my faith with God to overcome the adversities that I will face is to pray more
frequently, begin to trust God’s word and to accept God’s way of doing things for me.

STAYING COMMITTED TO ACHIEVEMENT Academic Success, Individual Development, and Spiritual
