A Selection of CGL's Successful Projects
Westfield House: for Galliford Try - CGL's value
engineering of foundation and basement arisings
saved around £4M in disposal costs. CGL also
advised on safe handling of asbestos contaminated
spoil.
Wandsworth Riverside Quarter: for Frasers
Property - since 2001 CGL has provided detailed
waste classification for basement arisings on this
former oil refinery and depot. This has reduced the
client's landfill tax bill by millions of pounds over the
project lifetime.
Channels Golf Club: for Bellway Homes - CGL
produced an MMP and independent QP declaration
for re-use of excess natural arisings from another
site as capping on this development site.
Church Crookham: for Taylor Wimpey - CGL
produced an MMP which enabled safe re-use of
impacted material as required fill within the
residential development.
Rail Depots: for Volker Fitzpatrick - CGL’s work on
these projects included MMP preparation and QP
declaration to enable safe re-use of impacted
arisings in the development, avoiding disposal and
import costs of virgin material.
