A message from the Colonel
one time or another, and some are self-inflicted.
Moving forward, we will overcome these current
challenges and continue to demonstrate the
capacity of this agency to adapt and overcome.
That will be accomplished not by me or the
Command Staff, but by the outstanding work that
all members of our agency perform day in and
day out.
This Department will not be defined by
those few who violate the law or our policies.
What will define us – what has always defined
us – are the actions of the overwhelming majority
of all of you, actions that are guided by your
dedication do duty, compassion for those whom
we serve, and bravery in the performance of
your mission. Please know that the Deputy and I
and the entire Command Staff are cognizant that
you embody the values that we, and the public,
expect, and that you do your jobs with honesty
and integrity every day.
With your hard work and dedication, we
will collectively succeed and continue to move
Colonel Kerry Gilpin, Superintendent together in a positive direction towards a stronger
organization.

wanted to take this opportunity to reach out and
thank you for your hard work and dedication Respectfully,
to our mission. We have had a busy year thus
far, and I truly appreciate everyone’s continued Colonel Kerry Gilpin
efforts to make it a safe one for the citizens we Superintendent
serve.
The current events impacting the
Department have presented many challenges. It is
unfortunate that we continue to pay the price for
the actions of the few. It is extremely unfair when
the actions of a small percentage of any group
tarnish the good and hard-earned reputations of
the rest.
