Over the years I have made countless attempts at permanent weight loss. I have observed the follies of dieting and experienced the grief, the heartache, the constant struggle, the self consciousness and the low self esteem that comes from the battle to lose weight and keep it off.
For as long as I remember I was on a constant search for that perfect diet that would solve all my weight issues. Then one day I made the connection between psychology and weight loss which was the last piece of the puzzle. That is when things completely changed for me. Up to that point I had no idea how many choices I made that came from a dysfunctional mind. Even when I thought I had it figured out, I discovered many more ways that my thinking process was sabotaging me, far beyond just being overweight.
