We first discovered some little details about Tabitha Twitchit when she appeared in Potters fourth book entitled ‘The Tale of... Ginger & Pickles’ where she is portrayed to be a shrewd business woman with a self serving disposition and no potential benefactor of the needy. Yes she is stiff competition for the generous and kind hearted Ginger and Pickles.
As time passed, in the 8th book by Potter entitled; ‘The Tale of... The Pie & The Patty-Pan’ Tabatha Twitched reappeared to be the cousin of sweet Mrs. Ribston (Ribby). Her superiority complex and judgmental disposition as the very ungracious town gossip puts her in less than good light.
Tabitha Twitchit’s character becomes the focus of this eleventh book written by Potter, with some personality traits that make her less than lovable.
Today is a very special day for Mrs. Tabitha Twitchit. She is expecting company, yes, FINE company who would be honoring her with a little visit where she would entertain them over tea (that is to say an early dinner, in old England)
