In this new book ‘Poppy Tails’, she will introduce you to her other exciting four legged pals Bosco and Doodles, who help Poppy get into all sorts of mischievous antics, while her humans are out of the house.
This is no ordinary poodle, and her friends are just as exciting with their humorous talents and personalities, bringing tearful laughter to your little ones, and beautiful, bright, colorful illustrations that you have come to expect from Poppy’s very talented author.
James Robert Jay resides in the small city of El Reno, outside of Oklahoma city, along with his wife Linda and their two pampered Pekingese/Sheltie Collie mixed breed dogs.
James has always loved art in a number of different genre’s including pencil drawings, acrylic, oil and watercolor. As a young child his teachers noted his talents and encouraged him to pursue them as a career. As it turned out, drawing was just one of his many skills that was put on the back burner to pursue what he deemed to be a more practical career in construction.
In recent years, James rekindled this love of drawing to write and illustrate children’s books. ‘I Love My Humans... Poppy Tails’ is the second release in a series of books James has been working on. His first book entitled ‘I Love My Humans... As Told By Poppy The Pink Poodle’ introducing you to his lovable Poppy character, is a book you will not want to miss. Both these books beautifully capture his sense of humor, creativity, and his passion for children, animals and a wholesome family lifestyle.
