Understanding Risk Management
Once the hazards are identified assess who
could be harmed, don’t just consider employees
but also consider contractors, visitors and
the general public.
Consider young persons and vulnerable
People such as those with disabilities etc.
For each hazard there needs to be at least
one control measure.
You will need to take reasonably practicable
measures to protect people from harm.
When deciding the control measures they should
be proportionate to the level of the risk.
