COVID 19 Controls
• Avoid contact with the face, more particularity the eyes and nose. If
you have a cough, sneeze, high temperature or other symptoms of
COVID 19, STAY AT HOME. When at work, cough and sneeze into
a tissue and dispose of in a covered bin and wash hands
immediately with soap and water/use hand santiser;
• Where applicable, workers need to comply with staggered start and
finish times to prevent over crowding. Refer to notice board;
• Staggered lunch breaks will be be introduced. The 2.0 metre rule
must be implemented in all welfare facilities, work areas, offices
and one way pedestrian systems. These will be clearly marked;
• Temperature screening MAY be introduced;
• Suitable face covering (such as Type N95) should be worn where
there is a risk of inhalation or expelling vapour or droplets which
may contain the virus. Consider wearing suitable protective gloves,
remove and dispose of gloves in a covered waste bin and sanitise
hands;
• Hand sanitising stations will be provided around the workplace,
offices and at the welfare facilities. Wash hands, thoroughly for at
least 20 seconds. Where provided, follow guidance on hand
washing;
• Our management team will co-ordinate arrangements to increase
cleaning and disinfection of welfare facilities;
• Avoid sharing tools and work equipment; wipe tools and work
equipment with anti viral wipes and dispose of as above;
• Organise meetings using internet based communications such as
Zoom, Google hang outs and Google meet;
• Wash work clothing regularly in wash programme off 60 degrees
and above.
