What if I change and then forget my new password?
Please create a help desk ticket. Email Task@postfalls.gov Creating a task will get you helped quickly and
assists IT in tracking common issues.

What are some recommended password best practices?
    What you shouldn't do:
Don't store your passwords on your workstation, on a sticky note, under your keyboard, on your phone, or in
        an email.
Don’t mix home and work passwords.
Avoid dictionary words, especially common words with less than eight characters.
Don't share your password - if you do share, change your password as soon as possible.

If you are using any of the following passwords, stop. So is everyone else. Here are the most commonly used
passwords according to those that study passwords: "123456", "password", "admin", "12345678", "123456789",
    "qwerty", "1234", "12345", "111111", and "123".

Don’t rely on obvious substitutions to protect you. mymouse takes .63 seconds to crack, mym0us3 takes just
        1.26 seconds, M!Mauzze takes 8 years.
Don't create passwords or use password hints that could be found in your social media or found with an
internet search. My home address has 17 characters and could take 12 years to crack but is also easily
        found online.
If your password and password hints include answers to the following questions, the answers can generally be

found easily online with a quick search of Facebook, X, or Instagram:
            What Is your favorite book?
What is the name of the road you grew up on?
What is your mother’s maiden name?
What was the name of your first/current/favorite pet?
What was the first company that you worked for?
Where did you meet your spouse?
Where did you go to high school/college?
            What is your favorite food?
What city were you born in?
Where is your favorite place to vacation?
