I have been with Essex twelve and a half years. I started with Essex as a Senior Assistant
Manager and have held very position in between on the Admin Ops side.
There are two things I love about Essex. The first is how we will always try to strike a
balance of fairness and great customer service for both our residents/prospects but also for
our teams. The second thing I love about Essex is how we always push to be better. Better
at innovation, better at service, better at financial results. Whenever we have these big
pushes it is always truly a team effort and I love playing for a winning team.
Nicole
Conrad My greatest strength is passion, I find great passion in always aiming for being better. You
could also call this competitive. I am very competitive and find absolute joy in team sports
Sr Regional (i.e. being on one company team) and having one team aiming for one goal. I love
Property celebrating the success of others.
Manager- The most important leadership lesson I have learned is to lead with transparency. Being
NorCal transparent whether it’s about goals, objectives, a team members performance, a peer’s
words or actions all allow for a team to move with synergy and collectiveness. It also builds
trust in the leaders.
When I consider planning for the future, I consider what will impact to my team members,
what will the impact to the customer be and what is the impact to the company objective
and goals.
My strongest core values are Honesty, Being Reliable and Consistent. I believe that each
person should always aim for their absolute best and not give up until it’s achieved but I
also believe that time and energy should be sent on things that have a lasting impact.
Fun Fact: I like to golf!
