Chapter 5
Snowie
Little Snowie was one of the first
foster dogs to stay at Hope Springs
and retire.
Snowie was quite senior when she
arrived and had a sore back which
made it difficult for her to walk or run
very much.
Snowie scampered around like a bunny
rabbit – and was affectionately known
as Snow-Bunny.
Even though she had no teeth (which
made her tongue slip out of her mouth)
she LOVED bone day and tucked into
her meat with great gusto and enthusiasm.
Snowie trained the Dog Mother and Father to take her out to the toilet and when
she was done she would wait on her square to be picked up and taken back inside.
