Dedication
I’d like to dedicate this book to all the dogs that need someone to
love them regardless of their special needs and to those very special
families that step up to provide all the love and everything else
these guys need.
Like people, sometimes dogs have physical handicaps or medical
conditions that make looking after them a little more challenging,
sometimes worrying and oftentimes expensive.
They are no less deserving of love, loyalty and understanding –
perhaps they need it even more!
BJ has always been an anxious little guy, who due to past trauma has
some ongoing worries about things. He also has a very sensitive
tummy and nasty allergies. He’s taught us so much though, and we
are better dog parents as a result.
If you’re looking for a new family member, don’t overlook the ones
who need some special consideration – they’ll repay you in ways you
don’t anticipate and their love is made all the more special because
of their uniqueness.
