to, he had the privilege of speaking to his Maker. He had not been reading his Testament without gaining
enlightenment. He had learned that he must come to God in His appointed way-through Jesus Christ; that he
had no right to approach Him in any other way.
He had scarcely placed his head on the bundle of clothes which he had rolled up to make a pillow, and drawn
his blanket round him, than he fell fast asleep.
