Throughout the course we will investigate how celestial bodies affect a culture’s interpretation of time, mathematics, calendrical systems, and the way entire cities are designed. Students will construct their own timekeeping device, experiment with alternative forms of mathematical calculation, and tinker with formatting alternative calendars

Program starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.
Students will meet at Lehman College Gate 8 (Bedford Park Blvd West & Paul Avenue) at 8:50 a.m. Bus will depart at 9:00 a.m. and will return students at 4:00 p.m.
