Students created their own hand sanitizers from the sap of the aloe vera plant. First, one of the outer leaves is carefully cut off.
Then, the yellow resin is drained for 10 minutes. Finally, the outer layer of the leaf is sliced and the gel on the inside is scooped into the bottle.
