Band-Aids with Character
On Valentine’s Day, our Pediatric Unit welcomed a special guest,
Sofi Villalpando, who created a campaign to donate colorful band-aids with vibrant patterns to local hospitals. Sofi’s mission was to provide pediatric patients with a unique twist on an otherwise traditional item, seeking to visually stimulate them and encourage interactive play. She was able to raise enough funds to donate 4,550 band-aids to our hospital’s Pediatric Unit. We thank Sofi for demonstrating
the very essence of humankindness.
