A Final Reckoning
The collapse of biologic infrastructure doesn’t mean care
will be chaotic or less safe. It means the system can finally
be redesigned around the actual goal: healing people, not
managing throughput.
If the old infrastructure was built to extract value from
complexity,
Then the new infrastructure must be built to create value
through simplicity, trust, and local control.
The next question isn’t what replaces infusion chairs and
cold packs.
The next question is:
What happens when medicine is freed from the systems
that never served it well in the first place?
And perhaps more importantly:
Who do we choose to center in the architecture we build
next?
