Ron & Deb met in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, in 1988. They were married in 1991 and lived in
various cities for the next 10 years as Deb finished College and Ron worked in the Environmental
Consulting industry in Madison, Chicago, Tucson, Denver, Seattle, Santa Barbara and Redding,
California, then finally landed in Lexington, KY in 1998. Ron’s work with the investigation,
remediation and transfer of commercial Real Estate along with his background in Construction led
the couple to an interest and eventually a License in Residential Real Estate Sales in 2000. After
two years in the industry, Ron acquired his Broker’s License and the couple started their own Real
Estate company in 2002; Lexington Real Estate Services. Ron & Deb were successful in the New
Construction and Resale market and Ron added Registered Builder to his resume where he
designed and constructed homes for various clients in the central Kentucky market. Ron also
served as a Director and a Vice President of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors. Ron
& Deb ran and managed their Real Estate Firm with much success for 14 years until they decided to
take their business to the NEXT level when they launched the first NextHome Franchise office in the
st
state of Kentucky on November 1 of 2015; NextHome Select Realty.
