double plan that highlights this
distinction. However, thresholds
in the neighborhood remain
present, as that is out of our hands
as designers: signs of the presence
of cameras and anti-theft alarms
remain visible.
Further, because of the broad range
of possible activities that can happen
at the centre, and spaces that can be
used by a variety of people, while at
the same time providing housing
for many people and households,
the possibilities for interaction
between different groups of people
are innumerable.
