Warranty Policy and Procedures
for Replacement Parts
We (International Pool Group) are a group whose
mandate is to source products and pricing that are
attractive to consumers, and to maximize rebates
to members at year-end. For this reason, we support
our warranty in a non-traditional way that better
matches our operations, and is more convenient
for our members. This document is designed
to answer your questions about selling and
supporting OWOW hot tubs.
The OWOW Hot Tub Warranty is very comprehensive
and provides the consumer with very good coverage
for things that they would expect such as the shell,
the plumbing, the cabinet, the electronics, etc., in
accordance with the terms defined in the OWOW
Consumer Warranty document. Retailers must ensure
that the consumer receives a copy of that warranty
at the time of sale.
To ensure a positive experience for the consumer,
all members who choose to sell the product
are obligated to provide the service portion
of the warranty.
A typical OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)
of hot tubs would build 5% into their pricing to finance
the payout of future warranty claims. Typically, once
you buy the parts, you would fill in all the paperwork,
someone would process the claim, the parts would
need to be returned (or pictures submitted), and then
accounting would process a credit. It doesn’t make
sense for us to charge you more upfront and then
increase our expenses by employing people to manage
the credit process and return your money to you.
Due to our group structure, compensation for the work
done can be achieved in a better way.
HERE IS HOW IT APPLIES TO YOU
We allow YOU to make that additional money upfront
and keep it for when/if you need it to pay your service
techs without having to spend time, energy and money
on filling in claim forms. When you need parts, we send
them to you free of charge from our warehouse located
in the Montreal area.

(Depending on your inclusions) 25%
NOTE: In the very unlikely event of a catastrophic
failure “out of the box”, a replacement hot tub would
be supplied at a significantly discounted rate allowing
the member to replace the tub and then re-sell the
old tub at a significant profit once it is repaired back
at your shop. If it is deemed at the sole discretion
of the International Pool Group that the hot tub
will not be repaired, then the replacement hot tub
would be sent at No Charge and the member would
have to return the old hot tub at their cost.
