e decided to give the walking
Wtour to Vintgar Gorge a miss
this morning, instead we took a”row”
boat ride to the island in the middle
of the lake to visit the “Church of the
Mother of God”
n the afternoon we had another
ISPECIAL EXPERIENCE, a visit
the traditional Gingerbread Museum
to learn the history of this honey-
bread and to make our very own
gingerbread heart, a symbol of love
and passion.

We continued to be immersed in
history as we enjoy traditional
Slovenian fare for dinner at the
museum’s adjoining restaurant.
