Early morning and we were transferred to the medieval old town of Dubrovnik, where aeons of
untold feet have buffed the marbled streets and squares to a smooth patina. After our guided walking
tour, we took the cable car to Srd Mountain for scenic views over the famous fortifications and
Elaphiti Islands. We enjoyed a free afternoon in this 'Pearl of the Adriatic' - exploring at our own
Dubrovnik harbour
