The PS Murray Princess awaits us
ur journey commenced at 14:55 on May 23, 2007; when the Indian Pacific departed Central Railway station,
OSydney bound for Adelaide. We travelled through the night arriving at Broken Hill at 06:40 the next day.
A fter a short stay in Broken Hill we continued on to Adelaide where we caught a transfer bus to our hotel.
e spent the next morning ( May 25) exploring Adelaide before being picked up from our hotel and driven to
WMannum for our embarkation on the PS Murray Princess. At Precisely 16:00 we depart Mannum and head
upriver. We position ourselves up on the top deck right over the bow - and under the four (4) air horns; we jump
out of our seats as the air-horns blast a warning as we approach the car ferry crossing; no warning of the
impending blast
fter we settle in and get changed we went to the dining room for welcome drinks, the mandatory safety briefing
