some souvenirs.
By this time it was mid-afternoon and
very humid and storm threatening,
and we also still had a while before
our coach would be back’ to take us
back to the ship. We headed back to
the Bitexco tower to find a cool place
to sit.
15:45 and time to go out and wait for
our coach; the storm was now
eminent; 16:00 and it was like mid-
night outside, thankfully our coach
was a few minutes early, for just as we
were departing the heavens opened up
and the streets were awash. We got
back to the ship not long before our
requested return time.
There was a stunning sunset over the
Mekong Delta (whilst we were at
dinner). Due to a medical disembar-
kation sailing was delayed until 18:45’
we then set a course down the Song
Thi Vai River towards Vung Tua, and
onto the next port of call Singapore.
