QUICKLY
FILL IN THE GAPS
Students in Ascend Math are assessed at the objective
level to identify their individual skill needs based on
your state’s standards. Adaptive study plans provide
an interactive and motivating course of individual
study unique to each student, rather than assigning
the same path to students who receive similar scores
based only on a pre-test or benchmark score. In this
way, they fill math skill gaps quickly.
STUDENTS FOCUS ON CONCEPTS THEY HAVE YET TO MASTER
Each student takes an adaptive screener to determine their grade level equivalency.
Students begin their Ascend Math plan with their lowest skill gap at that level regardless
of their current grade. Brief assessments quickly identify gaps at the standards level for
each student and a unique study path is automatically assigned. With Ascend, each
student learns in the proper sequence thereby avoiding frustration. An individual student
license spans multiple grade levels.
So they quickly catch up

approaches to the objective.
• Video is closed captioned in English and
Spanish.
• Hands-on explorations allow students to
