EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ROOM TRANSITIONS
Upon commencement at DMW, your child will join their most age and development- appropriate room. As they grow and continue their learning journey with us, we will support their transition to their new room and stage of development.
WHEN WILL MY CHILD TRANSITION?
We are mindful of a range of factors while planning transitions including a child’s age, level of development, confidence and their days of attendance. Our biggest transition period is towards the end of each year as we farewell our Pioneer Preschool and welcome new babies – however, there are commonly 1-2 transitions throughout the year depending on the needs of our children. In every room, we work with the children to develop activities and learning experiences in line with their emerging interests. This ensures that they are always engaged in fun, challenging and developmentally- appropriate environments.
