ISABEL RAFIDI DIRECTOR’S ADDRESS
It has been an exciting first quarter at DMW as we welcomed new families, supported the transition of some children across the service (officially happened this week!) and as an educator team, reflected on our service goals by quality area and our focus for the remainder of 2019.
Our parent survey is the remaining piece of this puzzle to ensure any feedback and areas of opportunity are part of planning for further quality improvement. What you say matters to us so please take a few minutes to complete and do not be shy about any suggestions. We want to know and thank you in advance to those who have already completed, we really appreciate it. I will be sure to share results in the coming month! Thanks again!
In April we will transition to a new online Quality Improvement Planning tool. This is for our leadership team to better track initiatives we are working on and to ensure we remain accountable to challenging ourselves and each other for positive outcomes. I am excited to share our progress month on month with this new capability.
Earlier this year, Discover My World entered the Australian Small Business Champion Awards and we are super excited to have been recognised as ‘Finalists’ for our commitment to providing the highest standard of education and care to our families.
This award recognises small businesses across Australia and is a testament to the passion and commitment of our educator team and the support of our families making DMW the service it is today! Thanks for your belief in us. You motivate us to want to do even better!
Our children – you are the reason we are here and we adore each and every one of you! You have helped us grow as professionals and our connections with each of you impact and shape our future.
