What is uploading
Uploading means data is being sent from your computer to the Internet.
Examples of uploading include sending email, posting photos on a social
media site and using your webcam. Even clicking on a link on a web
page sends a tiny data upload.
What is a good upload speed?
Again, in general, upstream speeds of 3 Mbps are considered good upload speeds because they
meet the FCC’s minimum standard. If you or anyone in your household regularly uploads videos
to YouTube or works from home, though, you may need a plan with higher upload speeds.
