Level 3 Phase 2

As of June 2025, the Filipiniana collection at Cavite State University – Bacoor City
Campus comprises 473 titles acquired within the last five years (2020–2025). This

represents approximately 8.88% of the total 5,329 recently acquired titles across all
subject areas. The figure highlights the library’s commitment to maintaining a relevant
and updated Filipiniana section, ensuring continued access to locally authored and
published resources that support Philippine studies and national identity.

The CvSU Bacoor City Campus Library is committed to providing access to Filipiniana
resources, despite maintaining a modest collection due to space and resource constraints.
The collection includes carefully selected materials that reflect the rich cultural, historical, and

               intellectual heritage of the Philippines.
To ensure that students and faculty have broader access to Filipiniana materials, it has links
to various online platforms offering open-access resources. Through these links, users can
explore a wealth of digital Filipiniana content, including literature, research materials, and
historical documents. Some of the accessible platforms include the Freelipiniana Online
Library, the National Library of the Philippines Digital Collection, and Filipiniana Open Access
Resources (Cebu Normal University), and among others.

This strategic approach ensures that the CvSU Bacoor community can access essential
Filipiniana resources for academic and personal enrichment, aligning with the library's mission
of supporting education and research through innovative solutions.
