Heading home, Billy tried to think of a
way he could help.
“Hey, Billy!” Amanda said. She repaired
things for people in town.
Billy had a sudden thought. “Amanda, do you know Mr.
Johnson?” he asked.
“The owner of Clayton House? Sure,” Amanda said. “My
great-grandma lived there.”
