you don't have enough time to prepare for it.

Your assistant wasn't able to tell it to you that's why you

were caught in this situation.

This is what you should do; you should ask your assistant

or anyone you trust to talk to your clients first and make

them busy while you prepare for your presentation.

You can start preparing while you are waiting for them,

you will never know they might be caught in a traffic jam

and be late for the presentation.
