Jun: What do you call people who study

planets, stars, and other celestial

bodies?

Sheena: We call them astronomers.

Jun: What equipment do they use to study?

Sheena: They use ground-based equipment,

such as optical telescopes, and space-

based equipment, such as the Hubble

Space Telescope.

Jun: Do they also study distant galaxies, black

holes, and neutron stars?

Sheena: They sure do. Would you like to be an

astronomer someday?

Jun: Being one sounds fun. If ever, I'd like to

focus on studying the planets in our

solar system.
