Lesson 5

                 Suspects

Suspects are persons who are imagined to be guilty in acertain crime

that occurred. They are being conjectured and mistrusted. These suspects

may be found innocent or guilty after the crime has been investigated and

the case was judged. Some systems of police procedure or legal terminology

refer to the suspect as the actor, or as the perpetrator of the offense (perp for

                  short).
