PROMPT
In The Storyteller’s Candle, you read about how Hildamar and Santiago
discover the library in their new city is a wonderful place. You also read
about Ms. Belpré’s plans for the Three Kings’ Day celebration.
Imagine that you are in Hildamar’s and Santiago’s class. Your class is
creating pamphlets to share information about Three Kings’ Day events in
your community. Write a paragraph or two to explain how the library will
celebrate Three Kings’ Day. Give facts and details about the holiday as well
as the activities the library staff has planned. Try to use some of the Critical
Vocabulary words in your writing.
