Evidence Write a Trickster Tale
PROMPT
In Compay Mono and Comay Jicotea, Mono the Monkey learns he should
not trust Jicotea the Turtle. Trickster tales such as this are fun ways to learn
important lessons about life.
Now write your own trickster tale. Think of it as a sequel to the story you
just read. Use the same characters and setting as the text, but the plot
should tell about a new conflict and resolution. Maybe this time Compay
Mono is the trickster, or maybe he still has not learned his lesson. The
choice is yours!

ways each conflict could be resolved.
