Short The Story of You
Read
1 Have you ever felt like you are a character in a book? Well, in
some ways, you are. In fact, you are THE main character in a
story. It’s the story of your life. If it were made into a book, it
could be called The Story of You.
2 So, what shapes the “you” in The Story of You? Well, just like
in any story, it’s the people, places, and events that surround
you. It’s also your own ideas, beliefs, and actions. All of these
are the influences that shape you, give you your identity, and
make you the unique character you are.
Characters
3
Your family and friends are the other characters in your
story. They start to shape you as soon as you are born.
These people share their wisdom, laugh at your jokes,
and tell you their own stories and secrets.
Events
4
The events in your story are always
shaping you. These are the experiences
you have as you live your life. They include
all of your interests and the pursuits that
you follow by yourself, or with family.
