Lesson 20

                   Relationship between

                   Korea and Japan

The 2002 FIFA World Cup was held under

the joint auspices of Korea and Japan. This

was not the first time that the two countries

correlated. We are neighboring countries with

some similarities and differences. Also, we

have a long history together. Although both of

the countries admire the present life, there’s

always an invisible wall blocking the relationship. I came to comprehend that

many Korean people have a bad impression about Japan for what they have

done to us in the past, including the Japanese Invasion. I wondered what I

could do to make it better.
