Reading Skill: Chronological Order                                                                                                          Chronological order is the listing of historical events
                                                                                                                                                  or parts of a story in the exact order they happened
                                                                                                                                                  from oldest to newest. The author often provides
                                                                                                                                                  dates, years, months, or days, so readers can know
                                                                                                                                                  what happened first and what happened later by
                                                                                                                                                  sorting information into chronological order.
