PROMPT
The author of The Upside Down Boy writes about an important time in his
life. He tells about his feelings and all the things that are new to him.
Imagine that you are one of Juanito’s classmates. Write the story of his first
day at school from your point of view. Tell what you think, do, and say
when Juanito first comes to your class. How would events be the same?
How would events be different? Try to use some of the Critical Vocabulary
words in your writing.
