                                      PROMPT


                                    Dear Dragon tells the story of two pen pals who exchange letters over the
                                    course of a school year. The letters are unusual because they are written in

                                    rhyming poetry, and the pen pals are unusual because one of the writers
                                    is a dragon!


                                    Write a paragraph that compares and contrasts the two pen pals. What do
                                    they have in common? In what ways are they different? Try to use some of

                                    the Critical Vocabulary words in your writing.
