21 (Lights up. NARRATOR is sitting on the stool down-right. GIGI is standing at center stage
and then walks in a circle around the stage.)
22 NARRATOR: Gigi set off to find fortune and adventure and stuff. After many hours, he
saw an old woman on the road ahead.
23 (OLD WOMAN, DOG, and CAT enter from right. OLD WOMAN is carrying a large sack over
one shoulder.)
24 GIGI: Hi there! I’m Gigi. Let me carry that heavy sack for you.
25 (GIGI takes the sack.)
26 OLD WOMAN: Thank you, young man. I thought my back would break.
27 (GIGI, OLD WOMAN, CAT, and DOG walk slowly to down-left. GIGI sets down the sack.)
28 OLD WOMAN: Your kindness deserves kindness in return. Please, take my cat and
dog. Show them loyalty, and they will be your most loyal friends.
29 GIGI: Wow, thank you! Hello, Cat.
30 CAT: Meow!
31 GIGI: Hello, Dog.
32 DOG: Woof!
