They were on top of pharaohs’ graves. Pharaoh Khufu built the
Great Pyramid at Giza. It was 146 meters tall and 230 meters long .
It took between 20,000 and 100,000 workers around 23 years to
build. They used simple tools and equipment to build the
pyramids. The last pyramids in the Giza area were built by Pepi Ⅱ .
