Update From the Holding Corporation
Our Holding Corporation has signed an approximately $17,000 contract to have the roof replaced and the work has been completed. Brother Troy Clark chaired this project and the outcome was well worth it. Thank you Brother Clark. There was a small amount of root found and repaired around the chimney on the East side of the building.
Speaking of the Holding Corporation, did you know that you can make donations or leave money in your will to the HC Endowment Fund, ensuring that any monies donated will be protected for the growth and preservation of the Lodge. We currently have around $400,000 invested and when this hits 1 million the Holding Corporation could be self-supporting by using only 50% (the allowed distribution) of the dividends from the investment.
Unlike the Charity Foundation, donations made to the Endowment Fund are not tax-deductible.
